RV100 and different cabs
I was running my rv100 head through my 89' 1960av cab and loved it. Needed cash so I sold the av cab. A few weeks later I bought an Orange 212ob cab.. Didn't make me happy. So I traded up for the OJ 212ppc closed back3 months later. Instant improvement in tone and bottom end, and hi end shimmer. But I was still slightly disappointed until last week when I got a chance to crank it up. I don't miss the AV no mo!!! Now I want another 212ppc cb to stack!!

Re: RV100 and different cabs
I recently sold my PPC212 to get myself a Marshall JCM800 1960B. To me, this is a major tonal improvment. It's sad though because Orange cabs are the best looking cabs there is, and Marshall cabs are fugly.

I do miss my 1989 1960av!!! But I think that 1 more 212ppc cb cab will do the trick.
