Does anyone know how long the F8 OT's have been used in the Rockerverb 50 models? What affect does this have on tone compared to an older model (say 2004)?
I tried a new one in the store and I fell in love! But I want to save some cash and buy used so any guidance would be helpful.
Thanks.
Joe

Yes I also read that thread, and commented. I just wasn't sure if the F8 Ot's were a brand, a type, or what. However, I saw the updates there and appreciate the effort!

Truth be told, apart from on this thread I've never heard of the 'F8 OT's'...

Oh wow, I've just checked the 2009 catalogue.
Apparently the RV50. has "a new exclusive Dual Snake 8 output transformer design".
Whatever that means...
I see the F8 was in the 2008 catalogue. Clearly thats old news now. Still learning here...
