Thought I'd start a thread for fellow owners of the reissues, and to air my problems in case anyone can help:

Does anyone know the specific type of output transformer that they used for this amp? I tried calling the US office to no avail (the same ones as the 140 work, apparently, but no details on the specific model). Also, it looks like the main filter caps on mine were custom made for the company, as they are emblazoned with an Orange logo, and "part no OM137". Anybody know where to get replacements? I know schematics for these are missing - anyone know for sure if an older schematic comes close? The closest I've found is the 1974 graphic one in The Tube Amp Book...

If you can help, please feel free to email me @ [email protected]
Thanx!

Try www.matamp.com

They have replacement transformers for Oranges and if I'm correct the built the first reissues.

Let us know what comes out.

I wouldn't go to matamp.com- go to www.matamp.co.uk

The first is just an American distributor- you'd be better off dealing with the manufacturers who are in the UK. I got replacement grille cloth directly from them and they were reasonably fast and very easy to deal with. Why go through a middleman who'll have the parts shipped from Matamp UK to them in America and THEN to you? Go direct..... Billy
