Get you some next time you re-tube your RV50. If you want better clarity, chime, top-end presence without being harsh, tighter solid bass, very even freq. response, and smooth defined breakup. Bias to about 65% of 14 watts. For me that's about 22.8mA running 400 Vp.

The EH's are still VERY good, not quite as defined and a little more crunchy and raw on the dirty side.

I didn't care for the Chinese (TAD, etc.) or JJ 6V6's. Chinese were worse than the EH, very ratty, somewhat harsh high end. JJ's are huge and were big, bold, round and warm. Subdued top end, very crunchy though, a little flat & sterile in the mids on the attack.
