Two heads....one cabinet
Moderator: bclaire
I just finished loading my old Marshall cabinet with two Celestions on the left top and bottom, as well as two "Tone Tubby's" on the right side top and bottom. By running the Celestions in series, I can plug (through an additional jack) my Orange AD 30 head into the Celestions (16 ohm), and at the same time plug my Mesa/Boogie MkIII head into the Tubby's (4ohm) wired in parallel. I can then switch between the two using an A/B box. I'm getting a beautiful clean signal through the Boogie, while clicking to the Orange for that great crunch! It's the best setup I've ever used. I just stack the two heads on top of the Marshall and crank it. Mmmmmm!! (:O

doesn't that mean you are only using 2 speakers for each head? so its essentially having 2 seperate 2x12 cabs?
