Sound Cutting Out whilst in use?

A strange thing has just started happening when using my AD50 - it does not happen often, the sound will just cut out altogether whilst it is in use.
The sound will come straight back if I turn the master volume all the way down and then all the way up.

Any ideas why this would happen?

DC off-set problem maybe?? I'm not that familiar with orange circuit designs... yet...

Cheers for replying - could you explain a little more about what you mean by DC off set?
It is odd - it has been working absolutely perfectly for about 4 months at least, performing amazingly at gigs, not a single issue (appart from back ache from 4x12). And then all of a sudden this weekend it starts going silent.
