Did a gig last week with my new AD140TC head. Last night, I set my amp up for the first time since the gig. Turned in on and nothing except a low hum through the speakers. Shut everything off and checked fuses- both were vaporized. What could have caused that? I'm going out in a few minutes to buy fuses.... and retry. Will report back... Billy

I've read that that was a problem. I'd try the boards over at www.harmony-central.com or www.plexipalace.com if you don't get an answer here.

Well.... found the fuses- which was a little difficult to find a 250ma fuse. Replaced both- turned amp on- lit fine- switched it off standby and a gentle whoomp let me know that both fuses went again. Took it to my Orange dealer- hoepfully it won't be long.... Billy

The two fuses that are blowing are the HT fuses. There is about a 99.999% chance that this is due to broken power tubes which sometimes get damaged in shipping.

The tubes in Orange amps are covered by a 90 day warranty. If you contact your the Orange USA office they will help you out. 404-303-8196

I'm touching serious quantities of wood here but we have neaver had a twin channel amp come back broken! Any problems reported are always rectified by swithing out tubes.
