Hey guys,

I just replaced my preamp tubes on my AD30TC combo and I have seemed to have lost any kind of gain from my 2nd channel. all it does is hiss as I turn the gain up. Does anyone know what might be going on?

Swap the old tubes back in (or tubes you know to be good, such as those in the other channel) to both the drive & phase inverter (ie. preamp valves 1 & 2 for the channel) positions, see if you get the same problem. If you don't, it's the tubes. If you do, then something's broken...


Don't tell me the best way, just tell me the cheapest way...
