i just got a new ad30 tc head and when i play at home with low volumes it functions perfect and then when i play at practice and crank it.. one of the channels keeps going in and out and is making barely any sound while the other channel is fine.. ne ideas on what to do??

Sounds like you've got a bad pre-amp tube. I'd point the finger at one of the phase inverter tubes (the ones closest to the power tubes).

Order a few new ones and swap them out with the tubes in the bad channel until you find the bad one.
