Wondering if anybody has any info re: OR-80 bias adjustments. Trying to either spruce up the sound of old tubes in it or find out if I gotta get new tubes. Amp sounds good when playing at volume- but real hum problem when say, guitar is muted with hand, you're about to play and so on. Any info much much appreciated.

sounds more like a ground issue on your guitar, not amp...but im no expert. just giving my 2 cents.

yeah, i agree with ecto, it's probably not a bias problem. If it's just standard hum, it's probably your guitar (single coils?) or a ground/interference problem. If the hum is more noisy and screechy (aka microphonic), it could well be the tubes. Try this, unplug your guitar cable from the amp, if it still makes noise, it's the tubes, if the noise goes away, it's your guitar and or ground/interference. Hope that helps at diagnosing the issue.

Thanks for the suggestions! Actually the hum turned out to be external problems- probably ground related or something.

Thanks
