Groove Tubes is selling what they claim is an exact copy of the famous Mullard ecc83. Has anyone tried these? Are they abso fab or what? I've always bought my replacement valves from Watford Valves in England, but they're not carrying these, and it's hard to pass up on the idea of getting that "Mullard tone." And does anyone know who's making these now?

Thanks.

I'll bite. They aren't quite a Mullard, but they're better than any other currently produced tube.

Thanks for the help. I did check out that old thread and it was informative. I'll probably try the Mullard RIs my next time around replacing the pre-amp valves.
