i recently purchased an orange rockerverb 50 combo, but noticed that when the reverb is turned any more than half way (using either channel) there is a rather annoying buzzing that gets intolerable after 3/4. Is this normal? or is it just becuase its brand new? or is it a faulty reverb tube?

any ideas?

Shouldn't buzz, jimbo. It's just possible that the reverb has been connected back to front, or gone faulty. Being brand new I'd check back with your dealer before doing anything else.

Jimbo, I just got the RV Combo a couple of weeks ago. Definately no buzzing on the Reverb. One thing I did notice though, was if I did not let the tubes warm up for more than 3 minutes there would be some scratchy, static noise for about a minute until things settled. Now I just leave it on standby for about 5 minutes before switching it on and haven't had the issue since. Good luck with the reverb.
