I own a ad140twin with a 4x12 cab and it's lovely. A friend wants to sell me his nearly new 4x12 cab, and I think I want to buy. Does anybody know what I can expect from running two cabs at once, each hooked up to one of my 8 ohm outs?
Good idea/bad idea? Great price.
Thank you.

It will sound absolutely amazing.

I did an outdoor gig and used both of my cabs for the first time and it was an incredible sound... however, that was the only gig where I've been able to do it...

Thank you. One more thing. One is 120w and the other is 240w. What sort of difference will this make?

what speaker's are in them?
one is probably just labeled wrong.some genius at orange thought four V30's =V30 X V30 X V30 X V30 = 120watts. V30's are 60watts 4 X V30 = 240watts.
good luck

If they are both 16 ohm cabs, you'll be fine.
