I would try the Octa Switch in the loop and your guitar plugged into the front of the amp.

I thank you all for your replies. I could not get on to this forum for a while to reply so sorry for not getting back quicker.

Situation is sorted. User error haha....I actually had everything rigged up correctly several times but had the Octa in Bypass mode Doh! I didn't even look at it...I just had this flat signal with no control of volume on the amp and thought I had connected incorrectly.

Embarrassing but true.

My old switcher did not have a bypass so I had it going before no issue.

The good thing about user errors is they burn themselves into your head. You won't make that mistake on stage in front of an audience because now you know it's possible.
