Replacing Crush 35RT

Post by DoomTones » Fri Dec 07, 2018 2:36 am

HI All, new here!
I am in the unfortunate situation of needing to replace the potentiometer. Good news, my father has replaced a bunch of these. Bad news, I have no idea which one I need to replace the "Dirty" knob. Image

Does anyone know which one I need and where I can get it? Thank you!

We can't see your pic, but the exact pot type will be written on the pot itself.

You might need to ask your dad to desolder it 1st, so you can see what part it should be and order or buy it of your local electronic store. Obviously, that means your amp would be out of bounds until it's replaced.

Thank you! I appreciate the info! :)

Orange contacted me today (Derron) and told me they could ship me a new one at cost.
When I asked if he needed a picture of it...he told me much to my surprise he had seen this post!!
TALK ABOUT SERVICE!! The part is already on its way and I am BLOWN AWAY by Orange Amps helpful service! Derron YOU ROCK!!! While I love my amp, this truly made me a fan for LIFE. ORANGE ROCKS!

That's ace!

At least Orange, having the schematics, will send you the right pot.

Good luck with the repair, though it should be pretty straight forward!
