RV100 clean gone

Hello i got home today after picking up my new footswitch for my RV100 and 2x12 orange cab. I have the amp a week and today i turned it on standby for 2 minutes like the manual says then turned the amp on and no clean tone...dirty channel is fine. I have the speaker connected to the amp in the 16ohm socket of the head and just one of the 2 inputs on the speaker. This was the first time i used the footswitch on the amp and i dont know what has happened anybody have any ideas?

I sthe footswitch cable ok? A few people have had similar problems and it turned out to be a dodgy cable.

yeah cable is ok i tried other cables then i took the footswitch out altogether and the clean channel is still gone

Just possibly a problem with the f/s input socket. If not then almost certainly a preamp valve failure in that channel.
