Brand new bands, revivals, yoko ono horse-solo tapes, whatever is turning you on right now...

Me:

Primal Scream's Riot City Blues It looks like those guys have returned from a trip to 1972.
Dirty Pretty Things' Waterloo to anywhere Explosive, short and full of catchy hit-songs.

TV on the Radio - Return To Cookie Mountain
Thom Yorke - The Eraser
Pipettes - We Are The Pipettes
Xiu Xiu - Air Force

I've had these four rotating for the past two weeks.

It reminds me of the Phil Spektor Wall of Sound music, ala the Supremes, although it is a little updated. Pull Shapes is a great track.

Currently listening to the first mix of the first track we've recorded and thinking "hmm, I'm going to have to re-record the rhythm part as it needs to sound much bigger and more open, and the solo probably needs to be re-recorded as there's too much gain on there..."

I am listening to spoonieg's (Orange member) band Vertigo. Finally picked up the cd and it has been in my CD player for several weeks now.
I like it!

at the moment, I'm listening to Black Betty by Ram Jam.

But in general, I've been listening to a lot of Sigur Ros' album "Takk..."

It's realllly good.
