Shoe Gazers with suicidal tendancies?? My friends like to point out that they think all of my music sounds like I was bent when I wrote it.. Why I even hang out with those ignorant buttwads is beyond me.. Most of em wouldn't know a strat from a harmony! LOL

I used to play in Asva (with ex-members of Burning Witch/SUNN0)))) and recorded all the bass on Earth's latest album....not sure if all that counts....

Well. I have a brand new rig that I just got today!!!1

PBass > Orange AD200B > Ampeg SVT 8x10

On the Earth album I used my PBass on one song and a short scale semi-hollow body on the others. I only played with my thumb on everything with the semi-hollow. I cannot even remember what amp I used...maybe I went direct?

In Asva I used a Les Paul tuned B-B I put Baritione strings on it. I played it through a SansAmp Comptortion Pedal which aloud me to sustain one chord for 2 minutes at a time (or forever if I needed it) and played through an Ampeg Reverberocket 50 watt half stack.

But now I play in The Youngs (Look for us on the Orange Artists page! or in my signature) NOT DOOM at all!

yes sirree. Been friends with Dylan for awhile. I guess I really only played with them on their album and at one rehersal. At the time I really didn't want to take on being in another band as I was pretty busy with Asva and Master Musicians of Bukkake. But getting to play on an Earth album was a serious dream come true for me as Dylans music is so amazing. Really...

If anyone is interested - here is Earths My Space page. - http://www.myspace.com/earthofficial
I play bass on the song "Raiford: The Felon Wind". And it will give those who don't know, an idea of what Stoner/Doom is....sloooooooooooooow, lowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, and Stoney......there are a few times where I play an extremely low "B" note on this song....one full octave down from a standard low "B" which of course is lower than your "Drop D". In fact it is probably so low you won;t hear it on your computer speakers...it's when the banjo comes in...

For Asva - the best place to hear stuff is http://www.webofmimicry.com/label.php?band=asva Low "B" tuning for this stuff.

Enjoy. Blow up those lil' computer speakers!
