Humm...... Let me do some investigation and I'll get back to you....The other thread was interesting. When I played the cab last night all the speakes seem to be the same volume to me. I stuck my head right next to each speaker. I'll have to do a recording test to see for sure......This cab sounds big and full... HUGE even! when the speakers break in should be even better....

I agree with sooner - depends on the wiring layout.
But if the two 8ohms are in series gives 16ohms
the four 16 ohms are in series parallel gives 16 ohms
then the series pair and the series/parallel quad go in parallel giving 8ohms (mono) then sooner is right the two 75 watt 8ohm speakers can take 150 watts and since the power is shared equally across the two parallel 16 ohm loads the other 4 speakers will also take 150 watts.
Therefore max load is 300 Watts mono and limited by the two lower power 8 ohm speakers.
Depends on the wiring.
Cheers
Brian

<br />Stone henge speakers are rated at 75 watts. 2 @ 75 = 150. Man O War spaeakers are rated at 120 watts. 4 @ 120 = 480. 480 + 150 = 630. So that seems like 630 TOTAL watts to me. 315 watts a side stereo. No bad math here.[:p] (just bad spelling on my part.)
the cab is wired series/parallel. so that works with me.

Shouldn't the total handling wattage be, 6 speakers X 75watts(lowest wattsge speaker) = 450 watts.

The fact that the speakers sound equally loud doesn't mean they are all recieving the same power of course. If the ones recieving less power are more sensitive they could still sound equally loud.
Andy.
