Hello,

i live in germany and my english isn't that good.
Today i got my AD30 TC and it sounds great. But my tc electronics effect processor destroys the good sound completely. Sad but true.
It is absolutely necessary for me to have delay, chorus and that stuff.
What can i do? Are there any possibilities for me to use these effects? Or do i have to use other effect pedals?
Can you please recommend other pedals which are working fine with my orange?
Please HEEEEEELP !!!!
If i do not find a solution very quick, i have to give it back.
But i can't...I LOVE it !

With my OR 120 amp I use an old analog
Boss DM-2 delay pedal and Boss
Dimension C pedal for chorus. They sound
great. Of course, any delay gets kind of
messy sounding if you crank up your
pre-amp volume for natural amp distortion.
If you have one, run your delay through the
effects loop.

Hi,
I use Boss pedals with my AD30HTC. They give me the effects I want without losing those Orange tones!<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

hi there

just an idea but maybe the visual sounds h20 - delay and chorus in one pedal - would do the trick. i haven't used this pedal but some people really like it - say its nice and warm etc. i've had good experiences with other visual sounds pedals too.

thanks for your answers, guys.
I thingk the Boss effects are interesting for me, too.
I'm also searching for the right distortion for my lead sounds.
In this case the Boss distortion effects are not sounding very good to me.
I'll try the Hughes and Kettner "Tube Factor".
Only the best is good enough for my orange :-)
I hope it will work fine with it.

i used a soldano gto pedal on my old orange head and it sounded like crap. i think overdrive/distortion pedals with tubes in them sound bad on old orange amps. im not sure on new orange amps, but your best bet would probably be to use an all analog distortion pedal, like an mxr distortion +, zvex super duper, tube screamer, something like that.

soldano gto sounded awesome on a '95 fender blues deluxe however...

Hello Dude

Im also using a AD30TC Head and for a delay Im using a DoD FX90 delay
however Im thinking of trying the Nobels pedals out
www.nobels.com You might know of them there made in Hamburg I think. the boss pedals are also verry good. This is a link to musicians friend

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/sid ... elay+pedal

Some of the pedals have sound clips some dont check them out and happy hunting also if you dont want your pedals to colour you tone try pedals with a true bypass switching ilke VooDoo Lab pedals
http://www.voodoolab.com/voodoo.html
They dont Make A delay but worth checking out the other pedals they make

@ ecto coolest
you're absolutely right.
The tube factor sounds very bad with my orange. I compared it directly with the Boss Blues Driver (the one and only Boss distortion which sounds good to me) with the result that i keep the Driver and send the tube factor back.
Expensive isn't always the best solution.

I us an Electro-Harmonix Small Clone Chorus and it sounds sweet, clear and shimmery with my AD30TC Combo. This pedal is a bit different from other chorus pedals, though. There is only one knob which controls rate (I think) and a switch to control depth. I love it...so simple, even I can use it!

hi dude!

i come from germany (northern - near to bremen),too! i use only stomp pedals for distortion and for delay. i need vintage sounds and to boost my or120 overdrive i use mxr boost, carl martin hot drive and boost mk2 and a reussenzehn daniel d tube booster. for delay i use korg dl301 and line6 dm4 delay modeler. both sound a little bit vintage. in past days i used roland space echo 201 and 501. so it is necessary to know, which sounds you prefer.
for chorus i do not know anything about this effect, cause i do not like and use it.
for my psychedelic sounds i use an old eh wahwah and fuzz, eh big muff, boss octaver, ibanez flanger fl305...

if you want to know something special, let me know.

keep well

Hey guys,

thanks a lot for your support.
You helped me a lot. Many things i never heard before, but that's exactly what i'm looking for.
To keep you informed...the Boss DD-20 Digital Delay is absolutely the part i'm searching for. I tested it and i bought it. The other points are still open. The expandora 2 sounds crazy. Not for all things, but the compressed fuzz sound is great (unfortunately very expensive). Furthermore I'm looking for a special lead sound to get a strange, melancholic and psychedelic sound in combination with the delay (no heavy metal sound or something like that...i'm a softy :-)
