Hi, I have a pair of old 4x12 speaker cabs and have been trying to gather information about. Sadly painted black with a plastic grill. I've been told thay are PA cabs and not guitar cabs from 1973, is this true?. The details are:

Orange Music
3/4 New Compton St.
London W.C.2
Ser no L.S. 4692

Overall cab size is
30cm X 56cm X 125cm
fitted with 4x12 speakers

Rola Celestion (Ipswich. Suffolk)
G12H
30 watts
16 ohms
Bass response 75hz

Any info at all on this model would be fantastic as I've so far found nothing!
May be willing to sell.

Cheers

They are the ones, third in from left or right on the back row. The thin looking ones!
Is that a twin tweeter cab sat on top of them?

they're PA cabs but just imagine your voice through an Orange head and Celestions... better for guitar.

I saw the same posts over on Plexi Palace- I don't really think they're worth much more than a regular 4X12- they're much more awkward but they probably sound good for guitar I would imagine- are they the same width as an Orange head? Maybe for the collector but I wouldn't think anyone would be knocking down your door to get them. I could be wrong, though. Too bad they aren't lighter- I'd say put 'em on ebay and see what they bring. They do look cool though... Billy
