I have a 4x12 Orange Cab, and because of some recent events, I have had some doubts about its authenticity. The speakers in mine date the cab to 1973.

Here are some pictures of both my cab and a friends cab for reference, his speakers date 1970.

Things that make me question my cab are the small plastic handles and rails are not the same size as his. On all of the old 4x12's the rear cover support is turned 45 degrees, but all the reissues I've seen inside are like mine.

Any ideas?

plenty.... I have two Orange 4X12's- my older one is just like yours whiole my newer one is like his. They are both Orange. The plastic cup handles on yours I don't have- just have openings in the side of the cab exactly that size. Marshall used those exact same plastic handles on their earlier 1936 2X12 cabs so I wouldn't be surprised if someone stuck those on afterwards.

Is your cab back support brace setup like mine (square) or like his (diamond)?

Thanks for the info.
