Pretty decent guitar sound. I've owned a Rockerverb 100 mk3 for a few years now, and I STILL haven't decided whether the Thunderverbs or the Rockerverb 3's have the best dirty sound.
I was down at Big House Guitars in Atlanta the other weekend and they had a handwired Orange Custom Shop 50. I was fiddling around with it playing an SG Faded trying to get some Marshall-esque midrange-heavy classic blues rock kinda tones out of it and wasn't really liking the results I was getting. But if you're a doom/sludge kinda guy, lemme tell you, that amp is PERFECTION. You wind it up to 9 or 10 on the gain and it's the meanest thing you've ever heard coming out of an amp with no boost pedal.

cool thanks for the listen groundmeat
ya amps are sooo expensive...gotta figure out what the right tool is for the job
I like thunderverb because it is a swiss army knife for the rock and metal....it excels though with chugging riffs like DOWN and MASTODON play too of course
I recorded this one today to put the MONSTER FEEDBACK in my captor X recordings with my new digitech freqout pedal:
