After reading this column, I contacted Hicks directly and he told me he had received so much flak from the article (apparently accused of trying to sell stuff through his article) that he wanted to wash his hands of the whole thing. Gave me the number of the people involved - I mentioned it to Johnny A. and he worked out a deal with LaSalle Music in Boston to acquire everything. I got an OR80M Overdrive head new in box for $350.
All of the heads in JA's basement (and my '70 Marshall 1960A cab that I just sold back to Dave Amato).

The heads with three small knobs are the Overdrive series with a master volume.Les Paul Lover wrote: ↑Sun Jan 05, 2020 11:28 pmWhat's the difference between the head with 2 and 3 small knobs?
