I suspected the same thing but figured Billy would ban me again if I testing the theory...
Based on Orange's history, it could be a long time before the forum actually gets locked. I just hope they leave the search function intact.

Me too, still kills me that the plexi palace boards disappeared like they did. At least there's the wayback machine!

Speaking of which, I did an acoustic gig at a local brewery recently. Set up my gear, and the owner says "What would you like to drink?"
So, I'm not used to immediately start drinking high test IPA's so I look for the lowest alc and chose the stout. By 10 pm when I finished I said, 'is there caffeine in that?' Yes, yes there was. I was so buzzed on caffeine that I ended up going to see a friend's band- closing that bar; going to see another friend- closed that bar; and found myself sitting on my couch at 3 am thinking 'I have to force myself to go to bed.'
Yikes...
