Dual Dark 100 question

I have a new DDT 100 on it's way, be here next week. How will it compare to my 50w EVH 5153?
I have a DT and a CR120 as well and I always go for an Orange 1st, in house or store. Just pref them...i just got a soft spot for any 5150 too.

Oh I will.
I tend to stay in the high gain camp. I like having it just in case. The DDT has always eluded me and it's been my #1 sought after amp because of it. I've been watching it since it's announcement but never got a chance to run one thru it's paces...but everyone that knows me say it's made for me so we'll see. I sold my short lived kemper for this DDT purchase. Kemper is cool and all but not for me.
I've been running some sort of 5150 for a few years. But an Orange is always paired up (dual amps). Like recently, I pair my 5153 with the cr120 and it's sooo much fun. I knew eventually I'd find a deal on a DDT so when compairing the RV and cr120, I went solidstate as it got pretty dang close to the RV and I just love ss amps too.
So, as I wait with way too much anticipation, only thing worse than GAS is the wait!
