Hey Folks,
I've decided I don't want to own gear I can't move alone, so bye bye PPC412 (Perhaps I'm weak, perhaps it's too heavy, up for debate). I'm wondering if anyone has put some hours into the PPC212V, and even better have you done a shootout between any other Orange cabs?
I watched the 4 cab comparison Orange put on YT, but thought the V sounded like trash. The other videos of the V with the R15T and BHT sound great so It's hard to tell. I'll be using a TT and R30 through it. Of course L&M didn't bring any in, and it's considered a special order, so I'll be out money if I'm not digging the sound.
Thanks,
~Remainjoyful.

I've not used one ...but totally recommend a 2x12 vertical cab. I had one made for me a couple of years ago by Zilla cabs in the UK, brilliant cab and picture of it in my signature...there must be makers in Canada? And you'll be able to choose your speaker or save money and get an unloaded one and put broken in speakers in.

I've got a Port City OS212V and it's killer. I have the R30 in my office hooked up to a ppc412 and ppc212 but I'm looking to offload those for something a bit more portable.

The Traynor vertical cab looks fantastic. You could try it and return within 30 days for full refund.

A friend of mine had PPC212V, and he didn't regret that he bought it..

Well that's a good sign
The used market in town is trash due to the unemployment of a certain industry that tends to spend frivolously. Used to sell gear in a day if it was priced right, but now I've had things sitting for over a year with no offers. For once L&M offers decent trade in deals, meaning I've got the 212V on the way in exchange for an old drum set. It's apparently not available in Canada so ETA is November. I intend to do a proper shootout with the ppc212, ppc412, and 212V once it shows up (if the other two haven't sold yet). I'll of course document some sort of audio comparison here so people have a more real world example of how these cabs sound.
Stay tuned folks.
