Speaker for Crush Pro 120

I recently bought a mint condition used Crush Pro 120 at GC. I had planned to use it with a 16ohm VHT 1x12 cab. What I forgot to do was match the speaker watts with the amp watts. Right now it has a 60w VHT speaker.

I will eventually get a 2x12 to pair it with but that is months out. Im thinking of getting an Eminence Legend 1216 which is a 120w speaker at 16ohms and loading it into the VHT cab. Im thinking this will further protect the speaker as the load will be reduced by using a 16ohm speaker instead of 8. How does this sound as a match for this head?

P.S. This will probably only ever be used as a bedroom amp. Id like to play gigs with it, but I dont see that happening anytime soon as Im not in a band and I only play alone.

Might be a bit much for bedroom playing, I think. Maybe check some prices on attenuators and how that works as far as wattage goes. Might get you the best tone per decibel.

Naw, its fine for a bedroom amp, the Master Volume works great on it. Wanted to know if anyone has tried this speaker or any other 120w speakers with it.
Dont get me wrong, Im sure it sounds better at higher Db, but it works fine for my space. Sounds fine at the same volume I play my DSL1HR at. I also dont need tv volume, I cant crank it to max but I can get a comfortable volume without bothering my neighbors and it sounds great. Just need More watts on my speaker.
