Share your Multi-Amp Setups

Post by Hyperion » Sat Mar 09, 2019 8:42 am

Share your multi-amp rigs. Here's my Wet/Dry/Wet run through a RJM Mastermind PBC:

Image

Left Wet- Stereo delay and Reverb into a Jim Room Terror set relatively clean, into a 2x12 Hyperion Closed back with V30s.

Center Dry- Fulltone OCD V2 into Brent Hinds Terror set pushed, into a 2x12 Hyperion Closed Back with Creamback 65s.

Right Wet- Jim Root Terror, bit more pushed than the left, 1x12 Hyperion Closed Back with a WGS Veteran 30.

Multi amping is too demanding for me.

I've done it a few times, send my delay dry and wet signal into 2 amps, but since I haven't got a dedicated music room, ive got to clear everything (cables, pedalboard) and move the amps back to their respective corners after playing.

Fun to try, but totally impractical for me.

I've got a TH30 and an OR15. I use one amp as usual, but run the stereo output of my tremolo and reverb into the effects return of the other amp. It's not wet/dry, but it is stereo. You can switch amp heads in about 10 seconds by moving a few cords. I really don't do it all that much, but it's always plugged in and ready to go.

Done a few things over the years.
Fender Twin Reverb paired with a Marshall Superlead
Marshall JTM-45 and Orange AD30TC

Now I sometimes use two AD30TC's on 4X12's

I'm now convinced I need to bi-amp one of the LPs into the TV50 and AD50 tomorrow, and dime them both....

memo to self - ear plugs...

I'll get an up-to-date pic when I bring the AD30 home, it's living "on location" at the moment... so I have a hole in my wall-O-orange right now.

Got no pic right now but sometimes just for fun I use my modified Fender Vaporizer with Jensens and my TH30. Sound's pretty nice when I do.

Why yes, it is!
Bought it used when a friend of mine found it online in a GC in Texas. Paid $1400

that is a very cool guitar. i have a thing for v's anyways but i've always wanted one of the duesenberg rockets or even one of the reverend volcanos. out of the 12 guitars i have 6 of them are v's and i plan on getting some more this year. i wish duesenberg still made the rockets.

and back on topic. i run my micro dark with my randall diavlo all the time. i use a tce mimiq doubler in front of them. i can't play them without that peddle now.

i'd definitely want to get the one without the trem. but budgets suck sometimes. plus this friday .... i am buying a precision guitar 59 offset carved top kit.

took me a few months to budget for that.
then it will probably be around july before i get another guitar again.

can't wait to put that together. still trying to decide what hardware and electronics i want to use for it. really interested in using some bumblebee caps but who knows.
