Thanks for your answer Billy. I think I'll go for a PU coat. hmm my sanity you say.. Some people says I'm already insane , and my medecine is guitar I'll follow your advice and will stay quiet during the leaf process. I've choosen copper leaf a bit thicker than gold leaf, and the theme of the guitar is more on the steampunk side (apart for the carbon neck).
I've built a full brass trem already, but will create another topic on this guitar to stop poluting that topic.

Les Paul and Tele. Both sound mean with Orange.
Recorded a bit of noodlin' to show a friend that Teles don't sound thin.
I'm not the best player but what the heck, that wasn't the point.

Clad to see some Tele love here. I was thinking Orange user's were into LP, SG and HB equipped guitars. Orange Crunch compliment the Tele Twang so well!!
I am probably the only Jazzmaster user though...

I use a Jazzmaster on occasion. My Oranges love it. I also have a Reverend Warhawk, and 3 SG's with p-90's.

Orange amps are super responsive to different guitars.
Strat, tele, LP, P90, mini humbuckers..... they all sound different yet fantastic.
That's the main reason I don't really have a favourite axe.... I rotate mine regularly and enjoy the variety greatly.

nah, though my jazzmaster only got one pickup and no controls. i call it the hellmaster.
don't really have a favorite either except the jazzmaster i built. but i have this weird thing where i want to play the jazzmaster and yet hesitant to touch it because i don't want to get my greasy mits on it. lol.

Nah....last orange acquisition was an AD140 lead head, number 48, needs cranking to get decent tone.Les Paul Lover wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2019 11:06 pmYeah, the R30 doesn't compress much at all.
Don't you have a RV50 too? That one compresses very nicely. So do the AD30s.
