Steve here, first time poster. You guys have a great forum community!

OK, so how good, exactly, is the AD15/12 when it comes to rocking out with a band? (Either just bass & drums, or bass drums & another guitarist) Stylistic specifics would be good to know, but even just for general rockin' n' rollin' ... does it cut the mustard? I've heard yes's and no's from dealers, wanted to ask some owners.

The AD15 is a brilliant amp.

I love mine.

Great straight up blues / rock / indy amp.
You may need a boost/OD/fuzz for lead tones.

It only has 2 gain stages, so until you crank the master to get some EL84 overdrive, you short of those High gain lead tones.

I really love mine. The cleans are beautiful too, though the headroom is very limited.

I sent mine on the edge of break up, so I get cleans by picking lightly, and a nice crunch when digging in. Boost / OD for more. Superb package.

Let me guess. The dealer that had one for sale said yes and the one that didn't said no?
