Using a Bax/2 stroke with cr120h

Curious about getting a bax bangeetar or the 2 stroke to run with the cr120. I've got 10 band mxr in the loop now but prefer knobs over sliders.
What do you say? Better, worse than the mxr?

Don't have the CR120H specifically, or the 2 stroke, but do have the MXR 10 band and Orange Bax Bangeetar.
The MXR is a decent EQ, can be very useful.
The BBG is much more an amp in a box, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Works well on it's own or with any amps (valve or solid state) I've used it with. Did a fairly in depth review here:

Andy, have you ever used it as a preamp type unit? Wondering if it would do straight into a PA, as a back up plan.

Get the Two Stroke! I have a CR120C and it makes it sound huge. I used to use a Boss eq and the Two Stroke blows it away. I can’t recommend it enough

Absolutely. For guitar I'd (almost certainly) use the speaker emulation output. For bass I'd try both and see which suited best.

I'd be tempted (like with a full amp) to set it up and then leave it firmly alone. That due to the potential for high output mayhem I mentioned.

But yeah, certainly totally useable straight to PA.
