removing 4x12 grill cabinet

Post by Halogallo » Mon Dec 17, 2018 3:58 pm

hi !
I´m trying to remove my 4x12 grill clothe cabinet to test new sound captures with mics.
After some forum research i only found this thread viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2112&hilit=grille from the moderator.
It´s a very complicated way to extract it. You have almost to take to pieces the cabinet.
Does anyone knows a better or simple way ? A frontal way ?

Thanks
Leo

Nope. Why do you need it removed to test mics?

There is no simple way and that's not the best way to test mics.

The simple way is to take a knife and cut the grill cloth. Be like Jimi... :P

Mainly because you want to remove the grille cloth. Just test them in what will be a practical setting...
