Hey guys, I just added an AD30 Twin Channel to my studio and it came with Orange branded preamp tubes. Did some tube rolling and ended up liking the ones it came with most. Anyone know what the story is with them? Were they manufactured for Orange specifically or were they just rebranded with the Orange logo? Thanks for any insight!

Simply rebranded with the Orange logo.

Any pics?

I just picked up the AD200B yesterday and it had PM branded tubes. I wonder if they are from the same maker just different markings.

Ruby simply rebrands valves, and probably gives them a quality screening too, like most rebranders do.

Ruby could rebrand any Chinese, JJ or Russian New Sensor valves. (New Sensor make EH, Tung Sol, Sovtek, Mullard and a few other brand names).

I guess that would explain why all my Orange amps have come with Ruby and JJ.
I also don't think Groove tube has as good a QC as Ruby. But, that could just be anecdotal.
