I have a Dark Terror and just re-tubed with TAD EL84 (2) Preferred Series 7025 (3) and a JAN-
Phillips 12AT7. I've been wondering about what would be a “bright” sounding preamp tube for the
V1 slot. I've been experimenting with a bright “cleaner” tone with this single channel amp.
