Really impressed!! A massive upgrade to the Tiny Terror.
Called in my local Orange dealer first thing this morning and realised the last time I tested it it was on bedroom mode all the time.... When I thought it was on headroom!!... Doh !
So tried it with my brain intact and as only I was in the shop did not feel the need to rush or play quiet... I was very impressed and bought it.
After an hour or so play at home things only got better.
The controls are I think the same as on the Rocker 30 but the natural channel on the RT15 is much sweeter and musical IMO than the TT ever was or the natural channel on the R30 even, it's very musical and is voiced with more treble....sounds great with a telecaster.
The dirty channel also sounds great certainly similar in a good way to the TT.
Bedroom mode is still surprisingly Loud but does certainly allow a decent tone at house friendly volume.....much better tone at low volume than anything else I have.
Transformers are slightly bigger than the TT and JJ power valves which is good although its clearly been in the dealers a while its dated November 17 number 31.
Ok so its early days but I'll see how I get on over the next few weeks no chance to play it with a band yet till next week.

Ace!!!!
So the grass was greener.... you were just standing on the wrong patch of grass!!!
As far as valves...... for the power valves, do try some Russian NOS 6P14P EV. Pretty much the same price as JJ EL84, but so much better!!!
Your TT is the hard wire one, isn't it?
Will you keep it or does the Rocker 15 terror make it redundant?

I bought 12 from this seller. Very pleased with them all.
I use 2 in my AD15, 4 in my Genz Benz Black Pearl 30, and have 6 spares.
They cost about the same as new JJs / EHs, but sound fantastic. The only downside is that they take ages to come along..... 2 to 4 weeks from Moldova I think.
There are other sellers too.

Re: NAD - Rocker Terror 15 !!!
Ok so I've had this for a couple of weeks now and still really impressed.
One thing to note is the tone difference between low volume / bedroom setting does vary greatly with the 15 watt setting at high volume (Ok that sounds obvious I know) ...turned up on the 15 watt setting (volume at 12 Oclock and gain just below 12 Oclock) there is much more presence / treble and much greater dynamics. Played with a Les Paul / Schecter Pt it was loud enough to cope with a hard hitting drummer and another guitarist and easily cut through a band mix (Cab an open backed Zilla vertical 2x12 with a V30 and Greenback).
Natural channel was breaking up a little at this point but still fairly clean when played lightly and still worked well with delay / chorus
Its a really good amp! the bedroom setting is ok, but to be expected does n't have the same presence / dynamics...but as in my TT HW the higher 15 watt power setting is where the tone is really at.
And I'm still incapable of posting pictures on this website!

Your description of the clean channel in band condition sounds pretty ideal to me... thats where i usually set my AD15, play softly clean, dig in and I get my crunch. ODs and fuzzes to get more.
But then.... if you can have the dirty channel for the more....
How does the dirty channel compare next to the R30 and TT hw?

Re: NAD - Rocker Terror 15 !!!
It's a little different to both I'd say (the difference is Probably slight within the orange amps specprum of tone) but difficult to explain what the difference is .... it's closer to the TT I'd say although has more of that R30 almost slight fuzz type voicing.... Maybe it's somewhere in between!
