NAD- Rocker 32

Post by Snowdogyyz » Tue Oct 16, 2018 7:22 pm

Got a really nice deal on this compared to what I’ve seen on reverb and eBay. It’s not my first Orange (I own the Rocker 15 and Hinds Terror). Just hooked my effects up in stereo through the loop and it sounds awesome. I did have some staticy/whispery noises coming through though. I rolled some new preamp tubes and it seems better now. Looking forward to cranking It this evening!

Nice! I have one too and am sooooo impressed. I've always loved the 2x10 configuration for a combo. I was taking out my wallet for a '68 Vibrolux reissue when I thought... what the heck, I'll give ol' Mr. Citrus a try. Never looked back. Then I read the reviews and watched a couple of cool videos that only reinforced what I had already experienced. Big benefits for me: relatively easy to carry at 50 lbs., great tone, great with pedals, etc. etc. just like it says in the manual. And it's quiet, even with single coils and a hot board. I've got more guitars than fingers and they all work well. And there's a cool factor that drives conversations at every gig. If you're thinking about a cover for it that's more than a dust cover, drop me a PM. Hope you enjoy yours as much!

Congrats!!!!

It looks to be a great amp, packing a serious punch.
I'd love to hear the stereo effect in person.

They seem fine! I like to mess with things though so I’ll probably experiment with some other speakers later on. It sounds nice and full to me.

Eenybear is correct- it takes pedals very well. It also sounds great on its own. Definitely got the Orange vibe going on!
