I love Shape controls if they're done right.

From what I've heard of the TH30... its a awesome sounding amp.

I have a TH100, I wont argue about the sound (that fenderish clean!!) or shape knob (I personnally find so clever), because all of that is a question of taste; but I can answer on the chinese made amp reliability.
Mine plays loud and often, played sometimes in a really warm environment, and never showed any issue so far. I own the beast for 6 years. Never hit it, transported in a flight case, etc.. normal care.

The TH30 got off to a bad start with people who've played Orange amps for a while because it took the place of the beloved (deservedly) Rocker 30. However, that was not the TH30's fault. They are well made, incredible sounding amps, and feel quite "proper" to me.

Loved my TH30. Loved the power scaling, the effects loop, the killer clean channel. Dirt channel was excellent. Real compressed El84 tone if that's your thing. I really liked the shape control. It kept EQ really simple and when I found the sweet spot it was awesome. Sold it to buy a rocker 30.
