Pretty sure it wasn’t used, but good excuse to share
Wonder how different guitar gear would be if this never existed

Re: Orange sighting
Interesting to hear the different words and the double solo!
Ed's Strat's headstock logo looks off - either replaced or something. Fender never put the logo like that!

Re: Orange sighting
Great!!, thanks for the link
Re: Orange sighting
I noticed that too on the Strat. Wondered if it was maybe something they tried for a little bit in the 70’s. Can’t imagine there were many aftermarket Fender logos back then. I’ve heard Ed was one of the first to swap out necks on a strat. I think we see the beginnings of Frankenstein there too the way the humbucker is kind of mangled in. Can tell they were still honing their craft, not as tight as I’ve usually heard from them live.

Yeah, you could find decals back then. I'd be willing to bet it's an Ed-modded guitar. He wasn't exactly into finesse when it came to mods, like that humbucker install! ha ha haJondog wrote: ↑Sat Oct 06, 2018 6:55 pmI noticed that too on the Strat.
