Hello Everyone,
If you read my other post you will know for whatever reason my PPC212 has left my ears frowning. I've also recently moved and was disgusted with the weight of my 3/4 stack as it was the only thing in my arsenal that I couldn't haul alone. I've recently downsized my drum kit and bass rig, so I think it's time to do the same for my cab situation.
I know a couple of people own these things. Has anyone done a shoot out against the regular 212 or 212OB? Curious how it stacks up? The weight and form factor are very appealing to me. Of course L&M didn't bring any in when they were announced so I'll have to rely on all of my wonderful friends here
I've also heard that the V along with the creambacks are all UK made. Anyone confirm?
PPC212V anyone done a shootout?

Did you catch this video? I liked the mid-rangey character of the 212V here:

In the pics on Sweetwater's site, the back plate says "designed and made in England". Dunno if they have started US production on this cab, but in any event I own both US and English Orange cabs, and can't hear or feel a difference.

Yea I saw that video. I do not prefer the sound of the V. Of course will have to listen in person. Love my port city, will probably try to find another one of those.
