Finally done. Just have to block the top corners with something massive. Huge difference in imaging and focus.

You'd need an industrial air compressor for that one...... ;)

Just blocked some of the early reflections and followed best practices for getting a room reasonably under control. This is a rental apartment...when we buy our house I'll get down to serious testing and such. For example, I'll be sure not to have a shiny limestone fireplace with glass right next to my right speaker, and no windows behind the monitors (although with the diffuser and blinds they don't seem to be a problem).

Looks very inviting. You now have the satisfaction of knowing what kind of room you'll most
likely need when and if you go out looking at homes. By the way, what is the ceiling height in this
particular room?

What are the pre-made foam panels you are using? do you like them?

Hi. The foam things are from Arrowzoom: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B06XYL ... UTF8&psc=1

They're fine but keep in mind they only cut down on the "ringing" in the room ie. high-mid and high frequencies. Ideally I would have another two of the broadband absorbers on each side at reflection points, as well as one situated sideways on the front and back wall where the walls meets the ceiling. The foam things help though, and are cheap. The bass traps really blew my mind in the low mid and bass range. I honestly didn't expect it to be that noticeable but it really was. I also have the "cloud" on the ceiling, above my knees when seated, and the two thick carpets

They're about 10 feet. 30 feet would be better. XD
