Hello, I’m new here

Just thought I’d give a little introduction. My name is Rob, I’m 45 and have been playing guitar since I was 12. I play early punk (77-82) , surf, and things on the more rock n roll side of punk. My past amps have included a Fender Twin, Ampeg Rocketreverb, 1971 Marshall JMP 50 watt head and 4 x 12 Marshall cabinet which was unfortunately destroyed in a car crash. I currently have an 80 watt Tray or 2 x 12 combo and an Orange 35rt that I love . My two guitars are a 91 Gibson les Paul Jr and a Hallmark 65 Custom ( a dead on Mosrite copy and my go to guitar). Anyway I’m a bout to pull the trigger on a Orange c120 combo because I love 2 x 12 combos. Everything I’ve read about them is good and I can’t wait. The sounds I get out of the 35 are perfect for what I do and I’m hoping the combo just pushes that sound over the edge.

The clips I have heard of these sound very good for an SS combo.

I tried the CR120 combo recently and was VERY impressed.
Fantastic sounding amp.
Really close to the RV50 MKI I own.

Thanks! I think it will. I’m a huge fan of combo amps and the Cr120c fits in my budget. I’ve gotten great tones out of the small 35rt so I can only imagine them being better out of the 2 x 12.

Hi and welcome! I'm sure the CR120 will be very, very nice as I've only heard good things about it.
