Hi guys. Just wanted to follow through on the other thread with some pictures and a clip from my new studio in Nova Scotia. Here's some pics followed by a clip of the Dual Dark:

Here's a sound clip of the direct signal path, no post processing. For those interested, the path is: '78 Yamaha SG 2000 > Maxon CP101 Compressor > MXR Carbon Copy Delay > Orange Dual Dark 50 Channel A > Shure SM57 > ART Pro MPA II tube preamp > ART Pro VLA II Tube Leveling Amp > Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 Line in (No preamp) > Reaper DAW. I'm really loving the detail and body provided by the two ART units which I didn't have before. EDIT I just listened to it with phones for the first time....too much delay but whatever. I mixed it on the Yamaha HS8s at higher volume and it wasn't so apparent.

I still have a lot to do with treating the room and whatnot, but I'm very happy to have the studio back and being ready to start teaching and recording again.

Looks great! Glad to see you back up and running. Now more importantly, what kind of beer is in that glass?

Man I miss Nova Scotia. The smell of the ocean. Have been in Alberta 9 years now and still feel landlocked.

Great Room and setup. Welcome home.

May I recommend Alexander Keiths India Pale or Moosehead Red Pale Ale to fill that glass when you run out.

or even a Ten Penny If you want something old school.

Cheers

I was born here so I have had my share of Keith's...that what's in the glass actually. I like me some Schooner too. Or import bier. Thanks for the welcome! You should come back and we could jam.

My first beer was a schooner. LOL stole it from dad. I have 8 more years here according to my wife. After 5 we will be purchasing some land on a lake or the ocean. I am coming home just not for a while sadly. If you are still around we will hook up.

Cheers
