New orange owner

Post by monk80 » Tue Aug 14, 2018 11:32 pm

Got a crush pro 412 with a cr120 head five days ago. Also bought a les paul studio. I couldn't be happier. I haven't got her dialed in yet but it's close. The thing has sustain for days and the dirt channel is exactly what I wanted in an amp.

Been walking around with a goofy grin. Not sure if or when that will go away.

Tried to post a pic but site says too large.

I know I purchased a quality amp and will not have to buy another in my lifetime.

Do yourself a favour and never play a tube powered Orange :)

That said I was a huge fan of the edge of breakup tones on the CR60. Didn't get along with the dirt though.

Congrats! That's my setup also (except I play an SG Standard).

Congrats!!!! You got yourself a very neat set up!!!! Indeed, you could need nothing else for the rest of your life...... I thought the same when I got my RV50 and Les Paul..... yet..... 10 years on..... I seem to have bought another 3 amps and 4 guitars....... whoops!!!!

(That's for the amp and guitars ive kept)

Still my LP and RV50 (on which your crush pro 120 is based, and is very close to the original) are still bringing a huge smile every time i plug in....

Congrats! Enjoy!

But don't count out owning an Orange tube amp someday. ;-)
