Cleaning orange cab grill
I was wondering what works best to clean stains off the grill of my ppc412 cab? Bought a used cab and looks to have a oil stain or something like it on the bottom front. Would like to restore it to its former glory. Please help!

Re: Cleaning orange cab grill
I've found a soapy damp cloth is best........ but oil...

Well not exactly sure it's oil. Looks like a oil or grease stain of some sorts. Either way it's stained and i want it cleaned lol

Mild soap and a soft bristled brush. Use minimal water. Blot dry with a clean damp towel, then a dry one.
Let the soap do the work to lift the material out of the grille. Don’t brush back and forth too much, to avoid spreading it.

Grill cloth may be a bit tricky. Might just need to be replaced if its a tough stain you can’t live with.

Be careful not to let water get through the grille cloth - damp sponge/ cloth, etc. and only wipe the grille cloth. On my older cabs, they got wet and the black paint permeated the grille cloth. You want to wipe down, not soak.

Ok used some diluted oxiclean and a old soft bristled toothbrush (minimal wet, didn't want it soaking shook out any excess water) and it got it clean but now there is a big clean spot that makes the rest of the grill look grimy lol

Good news!!!
Sure, it's a bigger to have to deal the whole grill cloth, but at least you know what to do and that it works.
How does the cab sound?
