Can I run a Boss Katana into my Rockerverb?

Hey all.

I've been playing with a Rockerverb MKII for a while now but recently was intrigued enough to buy one of the Boss Katana amps for all the effects they offer.

I really dig the Katana, but miss that beautiful tone of the Rockerverb.

Is it possible to run the Katana into the Rockerverb without damaging either?

The Katana has a line out and the Rockerverb has an effects loop.

I won't try until I get some sound advice. Thanks!

If the line out is before the power amp on the Katana it should be ok.

As Jon mentioned, you can. But it won’t sound like the tone of the Rockerverb. It will sound like a Katana being fed into the Rockerverb’s power amp, because that’s what you’ll be doing.

Have you considered just buying a Boss multi-effects unit if you like the effects of the Katana? Or just a few Boss pedals to use with the RV?
