Low watt EL34 question

I have been holding off hoping for orange to introduce an OR30 type amp with EL34's to go with my OR15 and am slowly losing hope this will happen.

I would love an OR50 but realistically don't need the wattage.

I have been eyeing the Marshall Jubilee Mini 2525H but do not have a chance to try one in person. Does anyone have any experience with this amp? and if so how does it compare to the Orange El34's ?

Does anyone have any other suggestions for a similar amp? I am playing mostly blues/classic rock.

Thanks for your time.

I would HIGHLY recommend a Fargen Miniplex - It's 12 watts of JTM to Hot-rodded 800 tones and is the best amp Ive ever owned. Build and tones are unmatched. The mini Jubilee is a toy in comparison.

Try and find an old Orange Rocker 30.

To be honest, the difference between 30 and 50w is minimal. They're both exceedingly loud!!!

I reckon you'd be bery happy with either the R30 or OR50.

Just get the or50 then. The volume difference (perceived) is minimal between a 30 and 50 amp. Come to think of it, you won’t be able to crank the or15 significantly more than the 50 anyways (it is loud). So just get the 50.

That's what I think.

I've got an AD15, R30 and RV50.
They're all loud. Sure, I can tell the R30 and RV50 are louder than the AD15, but between the 30 and 50 watter, I can't really tell a difference.

If you want a not too expensive Orange option definitely the Rocker 30 - the dirty channel sounds amazing.

Thank you for all your responses I did price a fargen and the cost shipped to my door is the same as i can get a new OR50 for. So maybe I just go that route and keep it at lower volumes until i can afford an attenuator.

I will look some more at the rocker 30 as well.

Has anyone tried the jubilee? I can get one for about $800 less than an OR50?

Again thank you all.

Cheers

The Jube is nice, have you looked at the Origin and new DSL, they both have EL34 tubes. I actually just ordered an Origin 20 head and a DSL 20 head to compare, both are EL34. Obviously Orange amps will be darker than Marshall, depends on what you like, upper or lower mids.

I did look at the origin but from what i hear on you tube, I am not getting the vibe i hoped for. I also read that the heads suffer from a jack issue and am not interested in a 10" combo. So as it stands i am hesitant until I get to play one. I would consider a 20H if they sound okay in person. The price is certainly right.

Looked around for a rocker 30 but nothing in my area. This option intrigues me as I did not realize they were el34 but i may need to be patient.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
