Great, really good amp, had a good go with mine this afternoon, dirty channel sounds great and it reacts amazingly to playing dynamics. The xotic ep boost set low sounds great as an always on pedal for the natural channel adding a little gain and sweetness.

What’s a good price to pay for the head ?? I’ve seen the combos go for around £400.

I got my combo last week from penrith for £280, heads seem to come up much rarer though so I'd say about the same £280 - 300, but in the end it's worth what someone will pay for it....

People ask for £400, but i think rarely get it. Pretty crazy considering the quality of the amp. There isn't much price variation between the head and combo.

Anything between £300 and £400 is a fair price, though they often sell in the lower part of that bracket. I got my head for £255, but got lucky on eBay. My head was in the middle of nowhere, collection only, dirty pictures..... it cleaned up very well though. I paid more for my AD15!!!!

I've just almost fully assembled my loop the other day. I need more time to take measurements, and drill the holes. Then remove the R30 main board, remove the phase inverter cap, and tap the signal there.

That's my FX loop circuit. It will have a bypass switch too.
I have been contemplating an fx loop for a while.. with regard to drilling, one thought i had considered was reusing the space of one of the 8R speaker outs with a TRS socket.. with the fx loop wired like an insert... tip send, ring return.. use a TRS splitter (stereo plug to two mono TS sockets). ie no drilling.

The only potential complexity is using 2 16R cabs.. but they can be daisy chained from each other into the 8R socket..

thoughts?
