The problem is I think I need more and they only make two 100 watt tube heads currently, one of which I already own. Is the DD100 a good choice for a next purchase? Do you think we'll see any new 100 watt amps from Orange this year?

Will they make anymore?
No idea.
From past production, you can try to get the OR100, or..... a version of the original OR80/120.

Re: I Have Orange Problem
I have the OR50 already. Is it similar in sound to the OR80? I don't know that much about older Orange amps so does the OR120 have a lot of gain or is it lower like a JCM 800?

Re: I Have Orange Problem
I believe the OR80/120 are something pretty unique.
They haven't got masses of gain, but people playing stoner love them for the special overdrive they get.
However...... They need to be LOUD. some of them have master volumes, but they aren't good master volume like on your modern Orange, they still need to be opened pretty high.

Re: I Have Orange Problem
I have a Rockerverb MKIII 100 and I really want a DD100. Seems to have that extra kick in the lighter to middle overdrive settings that I really like. I have yet to play one in person but I've heard some demo's that sound very promising. Never been a fan of the shape control being the only EQ on an amp channel but I feel like I could probably work with it.
