BAT Pharaoh Fuzz + TH30 Clean - Unity Gain?

Hey everyone,

I've got a coupla shows coming up in the next weeks and there are a few songs where I would like to use the Pharaoh instead of the TH30 dirty channel. The issue that I'm having is that the Pharaoh is renowned for sounding loads better with the volume at 3 o'clock upwards, but when using the Pharaoh on my TH30 clean channel unity gain is 11 o'clock. Anything past 12 o'clock is insanely loud compared to the clean!

All of our songs have clean parts so this kinda matters. Does anyone know if this volume jump will lessen when I have the clean channel much louder at gig volume levels? I really want to be able to gun the Pharoah to get maximum beef out of it.

I'm currently practicing at home so can't check - we have a rehearsal stint later in the week so was wondering if any of you guys knew?

I don’t have a Pharaoh, but can you try one of the following?:
1) Run an underdrive or EQ pedal after it to cool the signal down.
2) Voltage starve it to reduce the headroom.
